The next crisis could be most anything. Itcould be the Rapture of the Church. That is the hope of all who name the name of Jesus Christ, of course. That would not be a crisis for us. But it sure would be for the world! However, in this article I�m thinking more in terms of a crisis of prophetic import that we can see gestating in today�s news. The fact that it possibly involves nuclearweaponry makes it indeed a crisis of potential world-affecting dimension. We begin by thinking on how former President Donald Trump spoke frequently, as did Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, on how Iran would never be allowed to havea nuclear weapon. Trump, as we remember, took away the �nuclear deal� the Obama administration had made with the Iranian Ayatollahs. That greatly slowed Iranian progress toward developmentof such weaponry. But it didn�t stop it, as Russia, China, and even North Korea are thought to continue contributing to Iran�s quest to obtain a nuclear arsenal. One of the first actions the new administration took after January 20, 2021, was to enter into reactivating the �nuclear deal��to the great consternation, of course, ofNetanyahu and IDF leadership. The Israeli prime minister has expressed yet again his unyielding contention that the Israel-hating Iranian leadership will never achieve nuclear status. The following news excerpt explains. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu told US Vice President Kamala Harris in a late-night phone call on Thursday that he will not allow Iran to obtain nuclear weapons� Netanyahu in turn said that the US and Israel will continue to strengthen intelligence and security cooperation. He added that he is committed to preventing Iran from developingnuclear weapons intended to destroy Israel. Harris and Netanyahu agreed on the importance of the close cooperation between the two countries on regional security issues, which includes Iran�s nuclear program, accordingto the Vice President�s Office. (�Netanyahu tells Kamala Harris he won�t let Iran obtain nuclear weapons,� Jerusalem Post, March 4, 2021) With the Biden administration thought to be largely run by Obama administration officials, it�s difficult to believe that the new administration won�t subvert any and allefforts of Israel�s actions to halt the nuclear development efforts in Iran�s underground mountainous facilities. In all fairness to now VP Kamala Harris, she, surprisingly, consistently refused as a US senator to join in harsh criticism or condemnation of Israel for the most part.She and Benjamin Netanyahu, at least in the cursory contact they have made, seemed to have been in agreement on such things as dealing with hostilities in the Middle East and with actions against the COVID-19 so-called pandemic. Still, it is highly unlikelytheir seemingly cordial agreement in these matters will hold once the globalist momentum reaches full throttle. Israel, according to the prophet Zechariah, is in for total condemnation in the future from all nations of earth. And, at the moment, Iran seems to be the catalyst that could galvanize the world�s ire against the Jewish state. As stated above, Benjamin Netanyahu has repeatedly made clear that Iran will never be allowed to achieve the ability to produce nuclear weapons. Now that his colleague inthe US presidency, Donald Trump, is no longer in the White House, his determination seems to have doubled down to assure that Iran as a nuclear state never happens. Netanyahu is backed even by those politically at odds with him, as reflected in the news excerpt that follows. Defense Minister Benny Gantz on Thursday said the Israel Defense Forces is continuously updating its plans for a prospective military strike on Iranian nuclear sites. Gantz, in an interview with Fox News, said the military plans would not be finalized until right before such a strike was set to be carried out. �Until then, we will continue to build them [the plans], to improve them� to the highest professional level possible,� he said. My friend Bill Salus, a highly studied prophecy writer on foretelling�s involving the region in question, gives fascinating insights into the developing crisis. Jeremiah says that Iran experiences a disaster, which, from the details of the prophecy, appears to be the result of a nuclear catastrophe. Christopher Rufo has reported on this at length, noting that "R. Tolteka Cuauhtin, the original co-chair of the Ethnic Studies Model Curriculum, developed much of the materialregarding early American history." In short, the "ultimate goal is to 'decolonize' American society and establish a new regime of 'countergenocide' and 'counterhegemony,' which will displace white Christianculture and lead to the 'regeneration of indigenous epistemic and cultural futurity.'" Specifically, "The curriculum recommends that teachers lead their students in a series of indigenous songs, chants, and affirmations, including the 'In Lak Ech Affirmation,'which appeals directly to the Aztec gods. Students first clap and chant to the god Tezkatlipoka--whom the Aztecs traditionally worshipped with human sacrifice and cannibalism--asking him for the power to be 'warriors' for 'social justice.' Next, the students chant to the gods Quetzalcoatl, Huitzilopochtli, and Xipe Totek, seeking 'healing epistemologies' and 'a revolutionary spirit.' Huitzilopochtli, in particular,is the Aztec deity of war and inspired hundreds of thousands of human sacrifices during Aztec rule. Finally, the chant comes to a climax with a request for 'liberation, transformation, [and] decolonization,' after which students shout 'Panche beh! According to History.com, "When the Spanish conquistador Hernán Cortés and his men arrived in theAztec capital of Tenochtitlán in 1521, they described witnessing a grisly ceremony. Aztec priests, using razor-sharp obsidian blades, sliced open the chests of sacrificial victims and offered their still-beating hearts to the gods. They then tossed thevictims' lifeless bodies down the steps of the towering Templo Mayor." The Science.mag website describes it like this: "The priest quickly sliced into the captive's torso and removed his still-beating heart. That sacrifice, one among thousandsperformed in the sacred city of Tenochtitlan, would feed the gods and ensure the continued existence of the world." The relevant article was titled, "Feeding the gods: Hundreds of skulls reveal massive scale of human sacrifice in Aztec capital." Now, little children might be taught to chant prayers to these bloodthirsty demons - and on your tax dollars as well, if you live in California and this curriculum passes. But God forbid you quote the Bible in a positive way in the classroom, let alone speak well of Jesus, let alone call for prayer to the one true God. Heresy! Not in our schools!Remember the separation of church and state! As for chanting to the Aztec gods, that is what we call being enlightened and progressive. But of course. How dare we replace the tolerant concept of human sacrifice - yes, slicing open living human beings and offering their still-beating hearts to these idols- with the barbarous idea that the Son of God laid down His life for us. There's no way the civilized worshipers of these Aztec idols should have been indoctrinated with such horrible, Christian myths. And I wonder if the new curriculum will include this salient detail about the treatment of "an ill-fated Spanish convoy from Cuba who entered Aztec territory in 1520 ona mission to deliver supplies to notorious Conquistador Hernan Cortes"? This was the end of their story: "Dismembered bodies of men, women and children were devoured by their cannibalistic captors after they were used as human sacrifices. The remains of more than 450 people found at the ancient Zultepec-Tecoaque site in what is now modern day Mexico City have been examined by experts. The victims were heldfor around six months and were well-fed before being used in sacrificial enactment scenes from Aztec mythology, according to archaeologists." So, it wasn't just the Spanish conquerors who committed atrocities. It looks like the sword cut both ways, in this case, ending not just in a grisly death but in cannibalism.The victims were literally fattened for slaughter, then sacrificed. Perhaps that should be discussed in the classrooms too? Or maybe they should just end the lesson with a feast in emulation of the cannibalistic killers? All sarcasm aside, we're quite aware today of the sins of the Spanish conquistadors. And we're also aware that not all the early Puritan settlers were saintly Christians. But to the extent that we demonize American history, we forget the powerful, Judeo-Christian roots that helped make our nation thrive. And while we do not want to establisha theocracy in which Christian leaders force the nation to attend church services and live by the Bible or else, we absolutely believe that, to the extent we willfully embrace the wisdom of the Word, to that extent we will be blessed. Back in 1647, the colony of Massachusetts passed the Old Deluder Act, referring to Satan. In the past, this act declared, Satan kept people from reading the Scriptures bykeeping the Bible in an unknown tongue (Latin). Now, he is keeping people from reading the Scriptures by way of ignorance of the English language. It was ordered, therefore, "that every township in this jurisdiction, after the Lord hath increased them to fifty households shall forthwith appoint one within their townto teach all such children as shall resort to him to write and read." This way, as the children learned to read English, they would be able to read the Bible. Similar sentiments were expressed in the New Haven Code of 1655, which stated that the purpose of education was to equip children to be "able duly to read the Scriptures... and in some competent measure to understand the main grounds and principles of Christian Religion necessary to salvation." And, as I noted in Saving a Sick America, "In 1690, the first New England Primer we published. The alphabet was taught using Bible verses for each letter, and the primercontained questions on the moral teachings of the Scriptures, children's prayers, the Lord's Prayer, the Ten Commandments, the Shorter Catechism and questions on the Bible by Mr. Cotton. The New England Primer continued to be in wide use in American schoolsof all types, public, private, home or parochial, for the next 200 years." Yes, America had its blemishes back then, but it was through the teachings of the Bible and the liberating message of the cross that those blemishes were addressed and,in many cases, removed. Today, we are going in the reverse direction, and at high speed at that. Having thrown the Bible out of the classroom decades ago, the void is now being filled, not justwith radical leftist ideologies but with pagan, demonic worship. Now that President Trump is out of the White House, vast numbers of migrants have been floodingtoward our southern border over the past couple of months. They are desperate for a better life, and the perception that Joe Biden is implementing �open border policies� gives them hope that they will be allowed in. But when they try to cross the border, approximately 70 percent of those that are intercepted by CBP are turned away� Customs and Border Protection officers have encountered over 100,000 migrants at the border in February alone, highlighting how overwhelming the situation has become. The vast majority of migrants � around 70%, according to one source � are expelled via public health order Title 42 that allows authorities to quickly return migrants totheir country of travel. But of course countless more migrants are making it in through gaps in our porous border security. When the Daily Mail sent a team down to the Rio Grande, they witnessedtraffickers bringing migrants across the river over and over again� As the night drew on, this brief, chaotic encounter was repeated again and again as scores of migrants crossed one of the narrowest sections of the Rio Grande with virtualimpunity. Over a two-hour period we watched in disbelief as the three-man trafficking crew made five drop-offs, cramming as many as ten people into a boat designed for four. Of the 96 newcomers they dumped onto a slippery riverbank in Roma, an hour�s drive west of McAllen, 13 were unaccompanied children, including sisters aged five and 12. This sort of thing is happening at various points along the southern border night after night, and yet nothing is done to stop it. Of course CBP personnel can�t be everywhere, and without a doubt they have their hands full on a constant basis. Thanks to the �catch and release� policy that has been instituted by the Biden administration, many of those that the CBP is able to detain are processed and then releasedinto the country� Under Biden�s revisions, single men and women will still be sent back but families with young children will be taken to a Border Patrol facility, processed and releasedwith an I-862 form � a notice to appear before an immigration court at a later date. Needless to say, only a very small percentage of those migrants ever show up at immigration court. It is an absolutely disastrous policy, and Biden administration officials know this. But they just keep doing it anyway. U.S. Customs and Border Protection is the agency that is tasked with protecting our borders, and their job has become a complete and utter nightmare. This is a 28% increase over January.� �Laredo Sector Border Patrol agents apprehended multiple people attempting to illegally enter the U.S. through the Rio Grande River. Several individuals drifted back tothe Mexican side of the river on inner tubes.� �Border Patrol agents conducting a train check found 16 people inside of a storage container after discovering that the seal from the storage container�s door had been broken.The group was from Guatemala, Honduras and Mexico.� �#USBP agents assigned to the Laredo North Station apprehended 111 individuals during three separate human smuggling attempts involving commercial trailers north of Laredo,Texas.� �Within a 12-hour period, the Laredo Sector Border Patrol Horse Patrol Unit apprehended 125 individuals in 3 different human smuggling attempts� �Over the weekend, @CBPRGV Border Patrol agents assigned to the Rio Grande City Station encountered two large groups crossing into the U.S., leading to the apprehensionof 247 individuals from Honduras, El Salvador, Guatemala, Nicaragua and Romania.� �On Wednesday, CBP officers in Laredo seized 28 containers manifested as acrylic paint, holding a total of 1,234lbs of meth. The estimated street value of the seizure isover $24M.� �CBP agents and officers have seized more than 75,100lbs of methamphetamine during the first five months of FY21, a 9% increase over the same time last year.� �CBP agents and officers have seized more than 43,300lbs of cocaine during the first five months of FY21, a 64% increase over the same time last year.� �CBP agents and officers have seized more than 4,900lbs of fentanyl during the first five months of FY21, already surpassing the total for all of FY20.� In January, the number of migrants intercepted by CBP was about twice the level that was reported in January 2020. And then as you just read about above, the number of migrants intercepted in February was 28 percent higher than January. What is going to happen if the numbers just keep going up like this? According to one CBP source, the number of migrants has gone �from a trickle to a torrent� since Biden entered the White House� But as a well-placed Border Patrol source told us under condition of anonymity: �The cartels don�t know or care what the actual policies or politics are. �They just tell the migrants that Biden will let them stay and the migrants believe it because that�s the rhetoric he used on the campaign trail. �The numbers have exploded since he took office. It went from a trickle to a torrent.� What is really ironic is that this is about the worst possible time to be moving into the United States, but of course the migrants that are trying to come in illegallydon�t realize this. Most of them truly believe that life will be so much better if they can just get to America, and many of them are willing to go to extreme lengths to get across the border. So far, food aid distributed by them since the onset of COVID-19, has benefited approximately 4500 individuals. They are serving with great passion, characterized by a sense of urgency and aclear purpose in mind�to send help to persons who will otherwise be going to bed on empty stomachs! �Unbelievably, these are poor folks who also need help! There is yet another grave danger that confronts our ministry�s volunteers in the particular location where our fooddistribution programs are held�Islamic aggression. Islamist gangs, often part of the Boko Haram terror network, forcefully and illegally take their land from them, placing them at the risk of becoming displaced in society. In our own small ways, we try to reduce this figure. The familiesand children served during COVID are blessed with their food needs met for at least a week. In the past, I wrote articles that noted moral decline that took decadesto manifest. Detroit took 40-50 years to go from America�s richest city to the empty shell we see today. It could be said the Motor city rusted or rotted into the current sad state. The current state of decline is much faster. Our key urban areas are not just melting. They are vaporizing like dry ice. There is no way I can give a positive estimate thatin 10-20 years, this depravity is going to bring about moral and financial bankruptcy. We have processes at work that will destroy our nation within a few short years. The city of Seattle has a massive homeless/drug problem. KTTH Radio Host Jason Rantz was recently on Fox News�s �Tucker Carlson Tonight� show to discuss how Democrats aredestroying the city of Seattle. Rantz told Tucker that taxpayer funds are used to purchase heroin pipes, syringes, and �booty bumping kits.� �The city is now funding a homeless shelter that is passing out heroin pipes and distributing so-called �booty bumping kits� so that junkies can inject drugs rectally,� Rantz told Tucker. �Well, when you teach addicts, who are already the hardest to get off the street, a more efficient way to get high in a way that lasts longer, when you�re doing it withthe so-called �booty bumping kit,� all you�re doing is making it that much easier for them to stay addicted,� he continued. These liberal policies don�t do anything to end the drug problem. San Francisco�s needle exchange program resulted in hazardous waste increases across the city. More addictsgot high and violent crime surged and drug-fueled vagrants terrorized people on the street. If someone is a heroin addict, they run the risk of dying in a short period of time. It comes as no surprise that overdose deaths in the Democratic stronghold have killedalmost four times more people than COVID-19 in the past year. These progressive ideas seem great on paper, but in actuality, they tend to disappoint. The city of San Francisco is losing all of its pharmacies because of its unwillingness to combat shoplifting. Pharmacy giant Walgreens is fleeing the metro area amid a rashof shoplifting. Since 2019, Walgreens has closed ten stores in the city, with the latest store set to close later this month. The closure has been the third since October 2020. Last October, a news reporter with Inside Edition captured the moment when a man jumped over a Walgreens counter and stole an air bed. The video shows the man taking offon an electric scooter as he escaped without any intervention from employees or customers. At one Walgreens, the San Francisco Chronicle said it lost about $1,000 per day in inventory because of shoplifting. �I feel sorry for the clerks; they are regularly verbally assaulted,� Luke said. �The clerks say there is nothing they can do. They say Walgreens� policy is to not get involved.They don�t want anyone getting injured or getting sued, so the guys just keep coming in and taking whatever they want.� Theft of less than $950 in goods is treated as a nonviolent misdemeanor under California law. But in most cases, for shoplifting, the criminal is released without any charges.When you have the choice of paying for your merchandise or getting it free, many people are going to choose the second option. My third example of moral decay involves the school system of the city of Baltimore. �Project Baltimore, an investigative news initiative, recently reported on Tiffany France�sson. In his four years at Augusta Fells Savage Institute of Visual Design, he�s earned 2.5 credits and earned a grade point average of 0.13. Yet, his transcripts show his class rank is 62 of 120, meaning 58 students, just in his grade, have a 0.13 GPA or lower. France says the school never told her that her son was failing until last month when the 17-year-old was put back in ninth grade. �I�m just trying to fight. He like, �Mom, what was all this for? What did I do this for?� Don�t he get a chance? Do he get a chance?� said France. �He didn�t fail, the schoolfailed him. The school failed at their job.� It�s obvious that the agenda of the school system is money. They get $17,000 per kid each year and don�t care if the students are not advancing in their academic skills.The school keeps them moving to keep the money coming in. The ultimate responsibility for these grades rests with France�s son. He passed just three classes in four years. He failed 22 classes, and he was late or absent from classa total of 359 days. He failed because he thought he could just coast through life. He did get a chance � a chance to show his laziness. We can�t pull out of this moral nosedive because we�ve lost the ability to tell right from wrong. Most people think that America is doing fine, and better days are justdown the road. Most sermons and homilies are posted online; with laws that increasingly expand the definition of hate speech and sustained campaigns to portray Christian organizationsat hate groups, it was only a matter of time before activists set to work trawling the hours of content hunting for any expression of heresy against LGBT orthodoxy. Any expression of the biblical view of sexuality and gender makes clergy a target. The media is happy to help. In 2019, when a Catholic priest from Calgary was targeted for a homily in which he condemned the rainbow flag, the Toronto Star's headline unabashedlysided with the activists: "Calgary priest under fire for homophobic remarks." Now, Pastor Terry Murphy of Victory Church in Regina, Saskatchewan, is under fire by LGBT activists for a March 6 online sermon defending biblical sexuality, in which henoted that today's trans movement and the promotion of gender fluidity can be a form of child abuse. LGBT activist Terry van Mackelberg, who discovered the sermon and was apparently shocked and offended to discover that a Christian church had not yet changed its teachingsto align with his lifestyle and identity, has now organized both a Sunday protest in front of the church (drawing on comrades from Regina and Saskatoon), as well as an "application under the Saskatchewan Human Rights Code, which protects a person's right toequality without discrimination based on age, religion, sexual orientation or gender identity," according to CBC News. The LGBT movement -- which is capable of blitzkrieg-level mobilization in cases like this -- managed to drum up over 840 co-plaintiffs for the application in only two days. At their behest, local politicians have obediently labeled the sermon transphobic and homophobic, and Regina businesses, eager for cheap virtue-signaling (and to avoid theire of the "Love Wins" folks), began posting Pride flag profile pictures on social media. Van Mackelberg, who fundraises for LGBT causes as a drag queen under the moniker Flo Mingo, was happy to tell the CBC why he'd decided to organize against a Christian pastorfor saying Christian things. "We can't be silenced and we can't be forced to live a life where we can't be who we truly are. Being gay is normal. I was born like this and there's nothing that anybody can do tochange that." "I don't believe we've done anything to break human rights, but the LGBTQ community has rights as well. And like everyone else, they have the right to complain when theywant to," Pastor Murphy told the CBC in response. "What I said was not hate speech. I've been misquoted. I've been misinterpreted. Some have even tried to interpret what I meant instead of what I said. There's been a largemisrepresentation of my message. I spent my life working with people, loving people and trying to help families in distress and help young people." Murphy noted that he and his church are now being targeted, and people have "spewed hatred" at him, something anyone who has criticized LGBT activists can relate to. "Our services are our services. You don't go into a bake shop and ask them to fix your car. Then you can't come into a Christian church and expect us to convey messagesthat we don't agree with. We have our philosophy and ideology just like they do." For folks like Van Mackelberg, that isn't good enough. If they aren't confronted by messages that disturb them, they now go hunting for them. Infact, things have gotten so crazy that one film director has decided to sell audio clips of himself farting as NFTs� A Brooklyn-based film director is simultaneously mocking and attempting to profit off the cryptocurrency craze for non-fungible tokens (NFTs) by selling a year�s worth offart audio clips recorded in quarantine. �If people are selling digital art and GIFs, why not sell farts?� Alex Ram�rez-Mallis, 36, told The Post of his dank addition to the blockchain-based NFT market. You would have to be absolutely nuts to purchase such a thing, but apparently someone has already purchased one clip for 85 dollars� Individual fart recordings are also available for 0.05 Ethereum, or about $85 a pop. Pizza Hut has decided that they want to get in on the NFT craze as well. On Thursday, we learned that another770,000 Americans filed new claims for unemployment benefits last week� Figures released Thursday by the Labor Department show that 770,000 Americans filed first-time jobless claims in the week ended March 13, higher than the 700,000 forecastby Refinitiv economists. Weekly jobless claims have remained stubbornly high for months, hovering around four times the typical pre-crisis level, although it�s well below the peak of almost 7 millionthat was reached when stay-at-home orders were first issued a year ago in March. After all this time, the number of Americans filing for unemployment benefits each week is still about four times higher than pre-pandemic levels. And we just learned that retail sales fell pretty dramatically during the month of February� Americans shopped less in February, leading retail sales to fall 3% on a seasonally adjusted basis, the Census Bureau reported Tuesday. It was a much steeper drop than the 0.5% decline economists had predicted, according to Refinitiv. Bad weather across many states were part of the reason sales declined last month. When things go badly, they love to blame the weather. Of course the new stimulus checks that Americans are now receiving should help to boost retail sales temporarily. But at this point there are no plans to cut checks every month, and any short-term assistance will only briefly alleviate the long-term suffering that so many Americansare enduring. Even though I write about this stuff on a daily basis, I was surprised to learn that the results of a recent survey show that finances have now become the number one sourceof stress for the American people� WalletHub�s new Coronavirus Money Survey also reveals that the nation�s focus is now shifting from the virus to finances. The survey of over 750 Americans in March 2021finds money is now the biggest stressor around the country. Three in 10 respondents say money is their greatest concern this year, a 15-percent increase over last year. COVID-19 is still the top stressor for 28 percent of Americans.As coronavirus safety measures fade however, researchers find people are getting back to worrying about how to make ends meet. If you don�t know how you are going to pay the bills this month, that can be a source of stress that never leaves you day or night. Those that have gone through this sort of emotional torment know exactly what I am talking about. So when the ultra-wealthy throw their money away on �farting art� or �Pizza Hut art�, that is like rubbing dirt in the faces of tens of millions of Americans that are desperatelytrying to figure out some way to survive from month to month. The ultra-wealthy can continue to flaunt their wealth, but already we are seeing the rise of the �Robinhood mentality� that so many have warned about. When things get bad enough, the poor will start venturing into rich neighborhoods, and they won�t be there for a social visit.
