AMERICA IN CRISIS: 7.24.21 - There Have Been More Than 300 Mass Shootings In The United States So Far In 2021

There Have Been More Than 300 Mass Shootings In The United States So Far In 2021 - by Michael Snyder - http://theeconomiccollapseblog.com/there-have-been-more-than-300-mass-shootings-in-the-united-states-so-far-in-2021/ Did you know that the U.S. has averaged more than one and a half mass shootings a day so far this year? I know that sounds crazy, but it is true. Monday will be the 200thday of the year, and according to Wikipedia there have been 327 mass shootings up to this point in 2021. And actually the information on Wikipedia does not include all of the most recent mass shootings, and so the true number is actually a little higher. Butyou can’t really blame Wikipedia, because it is extremely difficult to keep up with all of the mass shootings that are happening these days. In fact, each one barely even makes a blip in the news before the next one happens. We have become a nation that isfilled with violence from one end to the other, and many believe that what we have experienced so far is just the beginning. On Saturday night, headlines were made all over the nation when a baseball game between the Washington Nationals and the San Diego Padres was halted due to a mass shootingthat took place right outside the ballpark… Three people were shot outside of Saturday night’s Nationals game during the 6th inning, causing players to run off the field and fans toward the exits. According to WashingtonNationals on Twitter, a shooting was reported outside of the Third Base Gate at Nationals Park. Sadly, mass shootings are becoming way too common in D.C. these days. Just the night before, there was a mass shooting in the city that took the life of a 6-year-old girl… Police are pleading for information after a 6-year-old girl was killed and five others were injured in a shooting late Friday night in Washington, D.C. The shooting took place shortly after 11 p.m. in the neighborhood of Congress Heights, according to the Metropolitan Police Department of the District of Columbia. Not since the days of Marion Berry have we seen such extreme violence in the nation’s capital. Carjackings in D.C. are up a whopping 74 percent so far this year, and the police union is admitting that the city has become a place where “violent crime permeates everything”… The police union, however, heaped blame on the ‘elected officials’ who they said allowed DC to become lawless. ‘Welcome to Washington, D.C. Where violent crime permeates everything,’ they tweeted on Sunday morning. ‘It is a tragedy that elected officials won’t let us do our jobs.’ Mass shootings are becoming increasingly common in other large cities as well. For example, Portland is rapidly becoming one of America’s most violent cities, and over theweekend there was a tragic mass shooting in the city in which eight people were shot… On Saturday, July 17, 2021 at 2:10 a.m., Central Precinct officers responded to a report of multiple people shot in the 300 block of Southwest 3rd Avenue. When officersarrived they found many people injured. The officers initiated lifesaving measures and secured the scene for paramedics to respond. So far 8 patients have been located and transported to the hospital by ambulance. At least one is considered life threatening. There appeared to be both male and female adults hit by bullets. The suspect or suspects left the scene before police were called and no one has been arrested. No suspect descriptions are being released at this time. Portland was once such a beautiful place. What in the world has happened to that city? Of course Portland still has a long way to go before it gets as bad as Chicago. On Saturday night, there was a mass shooting in Chicago that resulted in four children being hit… Four children were among six people shot and wounded Saturday night in a drive-by shooting that targeted a group mingling outside a house party in Chicago, police said. The shooting happened about 11:40 p.m. in the Austin neighborhood on the city’s West Side, according to the Chicago Police Department. It should break all of our hearts when we hear of innocent young children getting shot. In the old days, criminals had higher standards than this. In most cases, they would at least wait until there were no children present to start shooting at their enemies. But these days, hearts are so cold that people will start shooting whether children are around or not. In fact, some gang members are so twisted that they actually relish the thought of taking down the children of their rivals. At this point, I don’t know why anyone would still want to live in Chicago, because a drive by shooting could literally occur at any moment. Here is an example that happenedjust last Wednesday… Autry Phillips runs a community outreach center on a block in Gresham where people like to gather on the street and catch up with each other. “It’s a good thing to do,” Phillips said. “We want people hanging out on our block.” And that’s what people were doing Wednesday, standing and talking near a food mart at 79th and Justine streets when a silver car pulled out from an alley and three gunmanopened fire shortly after noon. And that wasn’t even the first mass shooting in the city that day. A few hours earlier, a shooter gunned down four women and a man… Hours earlier, four women and a man were shot in West Garfield Park on the West Side. As in Gresham, they were gathered on a sidewalk in the 4600 block of West Monroe Streetwhen someone approached with a gun and shot them shortly after midnight, police said. Once upon a time, a mass shooting like that would make headlines all across America. But these days they are so common that each one barely gets noticed. In order to make headlines these days, a mass shooting has to have an unusual element to it. If the shooting that just happened in D.C. had not stopped a baseball game,it probably wouldn’t have gotten much notice at all. If we are seeing this much violence now, what will this country look like once economic conditions become extremely harsh for an extended period of time? The fabric of our society is literally being ripped to shreds all around us, and we are headed for a very, very painful future. ------------------------------------------- Most Americans Dont Realize That Each New Day Brings Us A Little Bit Closer To War - by Michael Snyder - http://endoftheamericandream.com/most-americans-dont-realize-that-each-new-day-brings-us-a-little-bit-closer-to-war/ While most Americans remain in a deep state of slumber, global events are moving us a little bit closer to military conflict with each passing day. U.S. relations with Chinaare rapidly going down the tubes, and this is something that should greatly concern all of us, because it has very serious implications for our future. Personally, this is an issue that I have been focusing on for a very long time. Many years ago when I workedas an attorney, I would often have conversations about the state of the world with those that I worked with, and when China would come up I would warn that someday the U.S. and China would be bitter adversaries. At the time, what I was saying didnt seem tomake sense to a lot of people, but I understood where global trends were taking us. Like most of the things that I write about, I knew that it wouldnt happen right away, but now we have reached a point where U.S. relations with China are the worst that theyhave been since the Korean War. On Monday, there was breaking news about a huge international scandal involving China, but it didnt get that much coverage from the corporate media. According to NPR, the Biden administration announced that it is formally blaming the Chinese government for a large scale cyberattack on Microsoft The White House is publicly blaming China for an attack on Microsofts Exchange email server software that compromised tens of thousands of computers worldwide, allowinghackers to gain access to troves of sensitive data. Separately, the Department of Justice announced Monday that a federal grand jury in May had indicted Chinese nationals accused of working with official sanction from Beijingto break into computer systems belonging to U.S. companies, universities and governments. This wasnt just some random State Department official making speculative comments about who may be responsible. This is the official position of the White House, and anumber of other governments around the world joined the Biden administration in placing the blame on China In a coordinated announcement, the White House and governments in Europe and Asia identified Chinas Ministry of State Security, the sprawling and secretive civilian intelligenceagency, with using criminal contract hackers to conduct a range of destabilizing activities around the world for personal profit, including the Microsoft hack. A cyberattack of this magnitude is an act of war, and we are being told that sensitive systems all over the country were compromised The cyberattack on Microsoft, which is believed to have begun in January, reportedly injected computers with malware that secretly monitored systems belonging to small businesses, local and state governments and some military contractors. As part of the attack, an unidentified American company was also hit with a high-dollar ransom demand, according to a senior Biden administration official. This represents a dramatic escalation by the Chinese, and the Biden administration crossed a major threshold by formally pointing a finger at China. There is no going back to the days when the U.S. and China were friends. Way too many bridges have been burned, and now an act of war has been committed. The good news is that at least we arent shooting at one another yet, but that could change. China has repeatedly threatened to invade Taiwan if independence is declared, and if that happens the U.S. military would get involved. Many Americans cant even find Taiwan on a blank map of the world, but the truth is that it could easily spark a major military conflict. If you dont want to take my wordfor it, just consider what some national security experts are saying A clear and troubling consensus has emerged in the American national security community that the Taiwan Strait is the most likely place for a major war to erupt betweenthe United States and China; that it might start soon, and that such a conflict might quickly escalate into a nuclear confrontation. In March, the leading foreign policy organization in the United States, the Council on Foreign Relations in New York, issued a report concluding that Taiwan has become themost dangerous flashpoint in the world. There, a unique and troubling set of geopolitical developments have conspired to make a shooting war between the Peoples Republic of China and the United States more likely than ever before. Recently the newly appointedcommander of U.S. forces in the Indo-Pacific Region, Admiral John Aquilino, remarked that a possible invasion of Taiwan by the Peoples Republic of China (PRC) is much closer than we think. For such a long time I have been warning that this was coming, and now it is becoming a reality. Recently, the Japanese government also publicly warned that the Chinese could soon invade Taiwan, and the Chinese responded very angrily. In fact, a video channel that has close ties to the Peoples Liberation Army released a video which had such harsh words for Japan that it made headlines all over the globe When we liberate Taiwan, if Japan dares to intervene by force even if it only deploys one soldier, one plane or one ship we will not only return fire but also wagefull-scale war against Japan itself. Can you imagine the uproar that would happen if the Biden administration said something like that? In the video, Japan was also threatened with nuclear war In the new video now deleted, a narrator said: We will use nuclear bombs first. We will use nuclear bombs continuously. We will do this until Japan declares unconditional surrender for the second time. The video has now been taken down, but it should be unthinkable to say such things. Unfortunately, these are the times in which we live. Here in the United States, members of Congress from both parties are trying to get increasingly tough on China, and Chinese ownership of U.S. farmland is of particular concern The push to drain Chinas influence from the U.S. economy has reached Americas farm country, as congressional lawmakers from both parties are looking at measures to crackdown on foreign purchases of prime agricultural real estate. House lawmakers recently advanced legislation to that effect, warning that Chinas presence in the American food system poses a national security risk. And key Senate lawmakershave already shown interest in efforts to keep American farms in American hands. In recent years, the Chinese have been buying up thousands upon thousands of acres of prime farmland, and their holdings are now valued at approximately 1.9 billion dollars Chinese firms have expanded their presence in American agriculture over the last decade by snapping up farmland and purchasing major agribusinesses, like pork processinggiant Smithfield Foods. By the start of 2020, Chinese owners controlled about 192,000 agricultural acres in the U.S., worth $1.9 billion, including land used for farming, ranching and forestry, according to the Agriculture Department. Hopefully Congress will step up and do something. Of course if that happens, the Chinese government will almost certainly retaliate against U.S. companies in China. Most Americans simply do not understand how bad things have gotten. Our relations with China have been deteriorating for years, and now we have officially reached a crisispoint. Unfortunately, it appears that relations between our two nations will continue to fall apart in the months ahead, and at this point everyone should be able to see whereall of this is eventually leading. As always, let us hope for the best, but let us also get prepared for the worst. To many people, any sort of open conflict between the U.S. and China is absolutely unthinkable, because the consequences of such a conflict would be too horrific for words. ---------------------------------------------------- Cancel Culture Is Unbiblical and Could Be a Sign of the End Times, David Jeremiah Says - Michael Foust - https://www.christianheadlines.com/contributors/michael-foust/cancel-culture-is-unbiblical-and-could-be-a-sign-of-the-end-times-david-jeremiah-says.html Cancel culture involves a series of "unbiblical" beliefs that mirror what Jesus said would foreshadow the end times, author and pastor David Jeremiah says. Jeremiah, the pastor of Shadow Mountain Community Church in El Cajon., Calif., made the remarks in a sermon Sunday about cancel culture, saying its goal of punishing andostracizing is in conflict with Jesus' commands to love God and love others. The message was part of a sermon series about current events that will be summarized in an upcoming book, "Where Do We Go from Here? How Tomorrow's Prophecies Foreshadow Today's Problems."It is scheduled to be released in October. "Cancel culture is laser-focused on judgment and accusation and punishment," Jeremiah said. "And the goal of those who cancel others is to broadcast their sins from pillarto post, and never allow them to be removed or forgotten. Christ's goal, on the other hand, is love, mercy and grace." Jesus "spent a lot of time with people in His day who had been canceled, so to speak," Jeremiah said, mentioning the woman at the well and lepers. "It would be nice to think that cancel culture is a temporary phase that our world is going through," Jeremiah said. "But society is becoming more intolerant and polarizedby the day. And I'm not sure we'll see a reversal of all these trends. The more insidious elements of cancel culture are a malignant form of the spitefulness and self-importance common to human nature. "What we're seeing today reminds me of what Jesus described in Matthew 24," Jeremiah said, referencing Jesus' comments on the signs of the end. "... Leading up to this greattribulation, Jesus predicted a series of signs that will foreshadow the end of history." Jeremiah read Matthew 24:10, which says, "many will be offended, will betray one another, and will hate one another." "There are several terms in those verses that represent the ethos of cancel culture," he said. Cancel culture, Jeremiah said, is a "culture of disdain." "Jesus talked about how easily people would be offended in the days leading up to the tribulation," he said. "Boy, is that ever true? Have you ever noticed how easy peopleget offended these days? None of us wants to be offensive. But doesn't it seem like people everywhere are too easily offended? How long before someone sees us reading a Bible on the airplane and feels uncomfortable? When will someone take offense when we weara t-shirt with the slogan John 3:16 on it? What about the cross around your neck that could get you in trouble?" Jesus said society leading up to the end times would be "marked by people who actively root up, expose and betray everybody around them. Wouldn't you say that kind of betrayalis commonplace in our world today? We all have mistakes from our past we'd like to forget. All of us have made choices we regret and decisions we would correct or redo if we had the chance. But in a world fueled by cancel culture, those mistakes are notallowed to remain in the past." Cancel culture, Jeremiah said, also is defined by deception and disconnection. "Shockingly, a recent study revealed that nearly half of Americans have not made a new friend in the past five years," Jeremiah said. "... The culture leading up to thetribulation and the end of history will be characterized by coldness in our feelings for one another. Shame will drive people inward. Bullying will drive them downward. Hatred will drive them backward." Jeremiah urged Christians to embrace four "un-cancellable concepts" in a world marked by cancel culture: wisdom, courage, forgiveness and love. "It's not easy to live as members of God's Kingdom in a world that is increasingly hostile to his values," Jeremiah said. "This is the shared experience of every generationof Christians since the first generation. So we've had 2,000 years to prepare for these days. One thing we know: The rewards of following Jesus Christ are always worth it." ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- VISIT: PROPHECY WATCHER WEEKLY NEWS: HTTP://PROPHECY-WATCHER-WEEKLY-NEWS.BLOGSPOT.COM
