TEMPLE MOUNT UPDATE: 10.6.18 - Sukkot Ends With Clouds of Gog Magog War on Temple Mount

Sukkot Ends With Clouds of Gog Magog War on Temple Mount - By Adam Eliyahu Berkowitz -

Strange Mist on Temple Mount Is War on Spiritual Plane

I wipe away your sins like a cloud, Your transgressions like mist- Come back to Me, for I redeem you. Isaiah 44:22 (The Israel Bible™)

On Sunday, a group of Jews praying on the Mount of Olives witnessed a large white cloud rise up out of the ground from the Temple Mount.

The phenomenon was recorded by Josh Wander, a Mount of Olives resident. A sunrise prayer session was organized on a plaza overlooking the Temple Mount for the holiday of Hoshana Rabbah, the last day of the week-long holiday of Sukkot (Feast of Tabernacles).

"Just after sunrise, I was recording a Facebook live video of the prayers when I panned my camera to the Temple Mount," Wander told Breaking Israel News. "All of a sudden, I noticed a cloud or fog that erupted from the northeastern corner of the mount. It seemed to be coming from the area which was designated for women in the time of the Temple and the eastern gateway, which confused me, since I know that today, it is an orchard of olive trees and there is normally no activity there."

The balcony of Wander's home overlooks the Temple Mount so he is intimately familiar with the scenery. He is also a regular visitor to the site and said he has never seen anything like this before.

"It was billowing up so I thought some Arabs might be burning branches," Wander said. "But it was much too early for Arabs to be on the Temple Mount and I didn't see any Arabs there before, during, or after and certainly no fire. It was not just a thin mist and the video doesn't really convey the presence of the mist."

When he lived in the United States, Wander served as a pilot in the Air Force Auxiliary where he was trained to identify clouds. Meteorology and identifying clouds is an essential part of pilot training.

"There was very little wind and the smoke just seemed to crawl across the mount toward the Dome of the Rock," Wander said. "It seemed to come out of a specific spot but after several minutes, it seemed to be rising up from multiple sources in the same general area."

Wander reluctantly described the mist with a word he rarely uses.

"It looked supernatural," he said. Not trusting his own eyes, Wander asked the people around him if they could also see the mist. Most were immersed in their holiday prayers and had not noticed but when it was pointed out, they confirmed the mist's presence. The phenomenon lingered on the ground around the golden dome for more than 20 minutes.

"I am certainly not the kind of person who sees signs in nature," Wander said. "But this was just too out of the ordinary to ignore. It looked eery and the location, the site of the Holy of Holies, is too significant."

When Rabbi Yosef Berger heard of the sighting, he responded with equanimity.

"If you had told me that it happened any other day of the year, I would not have assigned it any significance," Rabbi Berger told Breaking Israel News. "But to have this cloud appear on Hoshana Rabbah is highly significant and makes me happy, knowing the geula (redemption) is at hand."

The rabbi cited Midrash Talpiot, a collection of homiletic and oral teachings compiled by Elijah ben Solomon Abraham ha-Kohen of Smyrna in the 17th century.

"It is written in the Midrash Talpiot that the War of Gog and Magog will begin three hours before the dawn on Hoshana Rabbah, the battle will last three hours, and then the Moshiach will begin to appear," Rabbi Berger said. "Of course this war is accompanied by flames and smoke as was hinted at in Psalms."

Hashem is in its midst, it will not be toppled; by daybreak...He puts a stop to wars throughout the earth, breaking the bow, snapping the spear, consigning wagons to the flames. Psalms 46:6-10

"It very well could be that a major battle was being waged on the Temple Mount on the spiritual plane and the only part of it that we could see was the smoke," Rabbi Berger said. "It has been clear all year that a war is being waged for the Temple Mount."

The rabbi noted that a record 28,000 Jews ascended to the Temple Mount in the past year and an additional 5,000 visited the site during the recent holidays.

"Smoke is only one aspect of the war, an illusion that we can see with our eyes while the real battle is being waged on planes we cannot see," Berger said. "The real battle goes much deeper. We may be seeing other aspects of the battle in the near future."

"During Sukkot we read about Gog and Magog in the Haftarah (a section of the Bible - usually from the Prophets - read in the synagogue that is thematically linked to the Torah reading). On Pesach, we read as the Haftarah Ezekiel's vision of the Dry Bones," Rabbi Berger said. "The war begins on the last day of Sukkot and the resurrection begins on Pesach."

Rabbi Berger noted that Hoshana Rabbah is the day of judgment for the nations.

"We are seeing a realignment among the nations concerning Israel," Berger said. "The United Nations is going through changes and may cease to exist. In England, America, Germany, and so many countries, their politics is being determined by how they relate to Israel and the Bible. This is a precursor to what will happen soon, what is already taking place on levels we cannot see."

Readers will notice that this article was written before the event took place (because I will be away from my computer for a week).

Last week, a friend sent me a recent copy of The Temple Mount & Land of Israel Faithful Movement newsletter (www.templemountfaithful.org).

This group was founded by Gershon Salomon, an IDF officer that participated in the capture of East Jerusalem and the Temple Mount during Israel's Six-Day War.

Mr. Salomon's group is committed to rebuilding the third Temple on the Temple Mount.

They conduct an annual march to the Temple Mount to call attention to their cause.

On Sept. 26, 2018, Mr. Salomon's group plans to march to the Temple Mount for some of the following reasons:

One, to celebrate the fact that King David established Jerusalem as the capital of Israel and King Solomon built the first Temple in Jerusalem more than 3,000 years ago.

Two, to thank God for fulfilling the Scriptures and making Jerusalem the capital of Israel again.

Three, to remind people that the prophets said that the Temple will be rebuilt during the end times and they believe that the events that are taking place are signs that the end times are here.

Four, to remind the world that Jerusalem was the capital of Israel before many of the nations that exist today came into being and that the Temple Mount, the city of Jerusalem, and all of modern Israel are within the boundaries of the land that God promised to Abraham and the children of Israel.

Five, to tell the world that God restored the nation of Israel 70 years ago to fulfill His covenant in the generation that is alive now.

Six, to thank God for redeeming the Jewish people and the Holy Land.

Seven, to thank God for letting the Jews return to the Promised Land.

Eight, to promise faithfulness in their efforts to rebuild the Temple in this generation.

Nine, to tell the world that the God of Israel has brought His people back to the Temple Mount, to Jerusalem and to the Land of Israel, and from that place they will never be exiled or taken away again.

Consider what has been said in light of the fact that some prophecy teachers expect the Temple to be rebuilt after the Rapture, the Antichrist to defile it, and the Jews to abandon it for the last 3 years of the Tribulation Period.

A second event concerns the announcement that Amazon.com, Inc. is thinking about opening 3,000 Amazon Go stores.

Shoppers will have an app in their smartphone that can be scanned as they enter the store.

Cash, cashiers, cash registers, cards, card scanners and lines will be obsolete.

Customers will be automatically billed when they go out the door.

If an app in a cellphone will work, then the right kind of Mark in a person's forehead or right hand will work; and the next step may be to compel people to take it.

A third interesting event concerns some recent comments by WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange.

He said, "Global surveillance will soon be totally unavoidable."

He added that, "The generation being born now... is the last free generation."

Fourth, the Bible doesn't say it, but many prophecy teachers believe the Jews will flee to a place called Petra at the middle of the Tribulation Period.

A good friend sent me a link to a 14-minute video on Petra; and it is the best I have seen. It is https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YK1bwnqXvX4&feature=youtu.be

Finally, a reader has asked me to exhort the saints that read this to pray that God will use the upcoming election to implement righteous governance in America.

I can't write on everything people ask me to write on, but I totally agree that we need a lot of people praying about our government and the upcoming elections.

No less than Dr. James Dobson, founder of the James Dobson Family Institute and Family Talk Radio, has written that "Powerful social movements and passions are 'blowing in the wind,' and most of them have dangerous implications for the institution of the family, religious liberty, our children and unborn babies, and the country at large."

Did you get that? An influential, highly respected Christian is warning that the next election has dangerous implications for our family, religious freedom, children, etc.

Make no mistake about it: hundreds of millions of dollars are being funneled to socialists and powerful social movements that want to bring down the U.S. and replace it with a world government.

The future of this generation's children and grandchildren should be a major concern for every Christian.

"The wall of the city was built on foundation stones inlaid with twelve precious stones the first was jasper, the second sapphire, the third agate, the fourth emerald, the fifth onyx, the sixth carnelian, the seventh chrysolite, the eighth beryl, the ninth topaz, the tenth chrysoprase, the eleventh jacinth, the twelfth amethyst." (Revelation 21:19)

In the past century, it has been discovered that gems can be classified as either anisotropic or isotropic, and only recently have scientists discovered cross polarized light, which can be used to identify whether a gem is anisotropic or isotropic. When viewed in crossed-polarized light (similar to "pure" light), anisotropic stones produce a colorful array- reflecting all the colors of the rainbow, whereas isotropic stones lose all of their color and appear black.

It's interesting that, in Revelation chapter 21, there are 12 gems mentioned to be inlaid for decoration of the New Jerusalem, and ALL of these 12 gems are anisotropic gems, i.e., gems that can show colorful patterns under pure light...

Interestingly, neither diamond, rubies or garnets are mentioned, despite the fact that these group of gems are very very common! For instance, the precious stones are generally considered to be diamond, ruby, sapphire and emerald, with all other gemstones being semi-precious. Turns out, it's because they are isotropic, when pure light passes trough them, there is no beauty at all...

"For wisdom is better than rubies; and all the things that may be desired are not to be compared to it." (Proverbs 8:11)

What are the odds?

Of the 28 stones that are normally regarded as gemstones, only 16 are anisotropic. Since anisotropic behaviour has only been discovered in the last century (and John wrote Revelation almost 2000 years ago), the odds of 12 stones picked randomly being in that one group, is about 1 in 1,000! In fact, this analysis assumes that all gems have the same probability of being included, but this is not the case (as some gems are considered more precious than others). Hence, the actual probability is much much lower than 1 in 1,000 for naming all the 12 gems, that are all anisotropic gems, in the book of Revelation!

Keep in mind that there are a few assumptions being made here, i.e. the stones are a literal description of heaven (which I believe are) and that the light in heaven will be like "pure" light, which emanates through the gems...

Could it be possible that God, in choosing the stones for the foundation of the new temple, deliberately avoided stones that would lose their colour and instead chose stones that disperse light to produce brilliant rainbow effects?

"...and there was a rainbow round about the throne, in sight like unto an emerald." (Revelation 4:3)

Shomron Farmers Fulfill Ezekiel's Prophecy, Planting Olives for the Third Temple - By Maayan Hoffman - https://www.breakingisraelnews.com

When you present an offering of meal baked in the oven, [it shall be of] choice flour: unleavened cakes with oil mixed in, or unleavened wafers spread with oil. Leviticus 2:4 (The Israel Bible)

The olive oil runs from the presses at Meshek Achiya like a stream of liquid gold.

Every olive in the press, each with a fruity aroma tinged by sweet hay or grass, was planted and harvested in Israel's Biblical heartland, right outside of ancient Shiloh, Israel's first capital and the location where the holy Ark of the Covenant stood for nearly 400 years. Today, a small team of farmers are re-planting the land, fulfilling the Biblical prophecy described in Ezekiel:

"But ye O mountains of Yisrael ye shall shoot forth your branches and yield your fruit to My people Yisrael; for they are at hand to come" (Ezekiel 36:8).

"We are doing the work that our ancestors did in the time of the Temple, of course with the expectation that the day will come when we will take our olive oil to Jerusalem for use in the Third Temple," said Farm Manager Itamar Weis. "This is holy work that we are doing."

In ancient Temple days, there were both animal and grain offerings. The grain offering (often translated as "meal offering") is referred to in the Bible as minhah (מִ ְחָה), which means "gift" and is an offering of thanks. This meal offering may only consist of fine flour, olive oil, salt and incense, usually frankincense. Sacrifices were suspended with the destruction of the Second Holy Temple by the Romans in 70 C.E. The expectation is that they will return when the Temple is rebuilt.

Meshek Achiya (Achiya Farm) is preparing for such a time.

Located in Israel's Biblical heartland, a team of all-Jewish workers plant and farm nearly 200 acres of olive trees and wine vineyards, all of which are "cultivated with love," according to Meshek Achiya CEO David Zitzer. The farm uses ancient Hebrew agriculture practices with the aim and ideal of building up the Jewish homeland and bringing about the redemption.

Meshek Achiya has one of the largest olive presses in the country. The farm's olive oil is of the highest quality and is closely monitored at all stages of the olive-oil making process.

"The fruit extract that originates from the 'tree of life' - Proverbs 3:18 - has for thousands of years illuminated holy spaces, and has been used in ceremonies as well as for beauty and culinary purposes," Zitzer said, noting that the farm's oil will be suitable for bringing a personal meal-offering when the Third Holy Temple in Jerusalem is rebuilt.

Weis said his staff, all Jewish residents of the area, understand the role they play. They get up early and work in inclement weather, including strong rain, to plant and harvest the olives. Often, the workers accompany the tractors of fruit to the presses and watch as the olives are turned into oil.

"It is so meaningful," Weis said.

This time of year, the month immediately following Sukkot (the Feast of Tabernacles), is the ideal time to harvest the olives. They are picked from the trees and brought to the presses within an hour to ensure the finest oil. Within the next two months, new olive oil from this season will hit the shelves.
Each year, the farm presses some 3,000 tons of olives and sells around 500,000 bottles of olive oil. But Meshek Achiya has not been without challenges.

Meshek Achiya was founded 20 years ago by Yossi Shooker, a visionary and idealist who wanted to replant the Biblical heartland as described in the Bible. He purchased a small plot of land and with his own hands he tilled and planted it, said Zitzer.

As the time to harvest and press the fruit came closer, Shooker ordered a special olive press from Italy and hired some Italian workers to deliver it and train him in its use.

"But at the time the workers came to deliver it, the first Intifada broke out," Zitzer said. "So they dropped off the machine and ran."

Shooker was undettered. He harvested the olives and put them in the press. But when he turned it on and started to run it, one of his limbs got stuck in the machine and he was pulled down inside. His wife, who was with him, ran to cut the electricity and stop the machine. Shooker was badly injured. After a few years fighting for his life in the hospital, he died.

"The people of the Shomron knew it was their duty to carry on," said Zitzer. So, they kept planting, harvesting and making oil.

Over the decades, Arab agricultural terrorists have likewise attacked the farm at least half-a-dozen times, destroying the trees.

Last May, Arab vandals demolished two-and-a-half acres of vineyards, costing Meshek Achiya hundreds of thousands of shekels. Zitzer said it takes four years to replant these vines and recoup the loss. But he said his team will keep going.

"Every time they tear us down, we replant until our olives and grapes grow, just like in ancient times," Zitzer said.

Today, Meshek Achiya has won multiple international competitions and considered among the best and largest olive oil manufacturers in the State of Israel.

Said Weis, "The quality is extraordinary... Getting Meshek Achiya olive oil is a real way to demonstrate your love of Israel and the Bible."
