"Our Best days are not behind

God's word tells us in the last days there will be perilous times, 2 Timothy chapter 3 verses 1-9. Many others, including myself, believe we are the last generation Jesus talked about in Matthew chapter 24 verses 32-35. Knowing these things, as believers, what is our position to be?
First we need to know and understand as believers in Jesus we are children of God! John chapter 1 verse 12. When we put our faith, trust and belief in Jesus, His death on the cross and His resurrection from the dead, 1 Corinthians chapter 15 verses 3-4, we were sealed by the Holy Spirit, are guaranteed an inheritance and are God's possession. Ephesians chapter 1 verses 13-14.
Second we are soldiers for Jesus Christ! 2 Timothy chapter 2 verses 3-4. Our marching orders were assigned many years ago. Matthew chapter 28 verses 18-20. We are to use the fruits of the Holy Spirit and the Word of God to help us achieve what Jesus wants us to accomplish while we are His soldiers. Galatians chapter 5 verses 22-26.
Thirdly we are living in this world just as Jesus lived in this world. John chapter 17 verse 18, however we are not of this world just as Jesus was not of this world. John chapter 17 verse 16. Earth is not our home! We are passing through this place, yet we are to live our lives as a testimony of what Jesus has done for us when we put our trust, belief and faith in Him. We need to be living our lives so nonbelievers will see us and want what we have.
Fourth we are longing for His soon return. 2 Timothy chapter 4 verse 8. In this verse Paul spells out what he is waiting for and it is also available for each of us. How wonderful is this? A Crown is in store for us!
