The Coming World Peace Treaty

The Coming World Peace Treaty – Bill Perkins - https://compass.org/the-coming-world-peace-treaty/ Here at Compass we teach from a pre-Millennial, pre-Tribulational viewpoint, which means we understand all prophecies are meant to be interpreted in a literal sense whenever possible. A good example of that is in Revelation 20:2-7. God says six times in six straight verses that Jesus will reign on the earth for 1000 years. So we believe that is literally Jesus reigningas King of the earth for 1000 years. However, many denominations follow the original Catholic interpretation and teach the 1000 years just means “a long time.” Large denominations like the Catholics, Presbyterians, Lutheransand Calvinists all view prophecy believing Israel is not in the future, despite Romans 9 through 11 and Ezekiel 37 pointedly saying otherwise. There are specific verses that discuss the characteristics of the 1000 year reign—like there being no carnivorous instincts in animals (Is 65:25) and snakes not killing people (Is. 11:8).Since we don’t see this today, we know these verses will have to be FULFILLED IN THE FUTURE! We have an excellent Steeling presentation by Paul Van Noy on the Millennium if you wish to do more research. CLICKHERE So using the pre-Millenial/pre-Tribulational doctrinal viewpoint is hugely important when interpreting Biblical prophecy. Many of the greatest Biblical prophecies ever recorded are in the Book of Daniel. Volumes have been written about these prophecies. Arguably, the greatest of these is Daniel 9:24-27. This incredible prophecy covered events for 2,477 years. The prophecy would begin in 444 BC and appears to end around 2033 AD or so at theend of the 7 years of Tribulation. The prophecy specifically covers the time of Jesus' arrival, death, and return to reign as King of Earth for 1000 years. And it is the key to understanding what the Bible says about eventshappening today. So let’s dive in… Seventy weeks (Hebrew: “70 sevens," or 490 years) have been decreed for your people…Dan. 9:24a Most reading this need no explanation of this prophecy, but for anyone new, here is a brief overview (not an exhaustive study!). The Beginning This prophecy clearly states that beginning with a decree by Artaxerxes Longimanus on March 5, 444 BC, God ordained 490 years (“70 sevens or 70 ‘heptads’”) to deal with Israel’s sin. Israel’s Messiah Will Arrive on A Donkey The prophecy further states that 483 years after the decree, the Messiah would arrive, riding on a donkey (Zech 9:9). Behold, your King is coming to you; He is just and endowed with salvation, humble, and mounted on a donkey, even on a colt, the foal of a donkey. Zech 9:9 The magnitude of that prophecy is hard to grasp. Only the Lord could predict the exact date of Jesus riding into Jerusalem on the foal of a donkey—483 years in the future! The prophecy was recorded in 538 BC, but the 490-year timeline didn't even begin with Artaxerxes' decree for another 94 years. Artaxerxes had not even been born! We know from history that when you count 483 years/173,880 days from March 5, 444 BC, you come to March 30, 33 AD, the exact day that Jesus presented Himself as the Jewish Messiah riding adonkey. These calculations are from page 1363 in the Bible Knowledge Commentary–Old Testament, Daniel. They explain that in the above graphic, only one year expired between 1 BC and 1 AD so the totalis 476 years, not 477. Also, the commentary explains that you have to add the leap years, 476 years divided by four, with a leap year every four years, which gives 119 additional days. But three days must be subtractedfrom 119 because centennial years are not leap years though every 400th year is a leap year. Talk about precision! That is astounding, to say the least. But it came from the Creator God who spoke the universe into existence in six 24-hour days. Always remember God knows all and is ALWAYS in complete control. We've already been gifted eternity in heaven, something we can never lose. Messiah Will Be Murdered The prophecy then states the Messiah would be murdered (“cut off”) after 483 years, leaving seven years to be fulfilled in the future. the Messiah will be cut off (murdered) Dan. 9:26a Sadly, God foretold that the Jews would reject their Messiah. And because of this rejection, God allowed Jerusalem to be destroyed in 70 AD and the Jews were scattered around the world foralmost 2000 years. But in Ezekiel 37, God said the Jews would be regathered in their homeland in order for the last seven years left on the prophecy to be fulfilled. We're currently living in between the end of the 483 years and the last seven years... a time we call the Church Age. So for over 1900 years, God’s chosen, the Jews, have been put on the back burner. During this time the born-again Believers are God’s focus during the Church Age. And I will say to those who were not My people, ‘You are My people!’ And they will say, ‘You are my God!’” Hosea 2:23 Therefore the last seven years of time assigned to Israel have been pushed forward 2000 years. And what was Israel’s loss is great gain to those of us living in the Church Age. 50 days after Jesus’ death, God sent His Holy Spirit, the third Person of the Trinity, to the earth to permanently indwell His people during the Church Age. The arrival and departure of God’sSpirit are the bookends of the Church Age. The Daniel 9:24-27 prophecy concludes with the key event that kicks off the seven-year tribulation period. The Rapture This 7-year period begins with the Rapture of the Church. Things must reach a crisis point on the earth because God calls it a "rescue." Jesus, who rescues us from the wrath to come. 1Thes. 1:10b so that He might rescue us [via the Rapture] from this present evil Gal 1:4b With the Rapture, when the Restraining power of God’s Holy Spirit is removed from the earth, the proverbial “All hell breaks loose” happens in a nuclear war. Russia, Iran and others invadeIsrael. This quite devastating war is detailed in Ezek 38/39. Because God is usually quite balanced in what He does, we think it will happen in the 50 days following the Rapture. You can read more details about this 50-day period after the cross andafter the Rapture in an article we wrote about eight years ago. CLICKHERE Israel Wins! The end result of that post-Rapture war is Israel wins big time. And just as important, the world sees that God caused Israel to win the war, shocking the world's leaders. This should be interestingto watch from above...just saying. "And My holy name I shall make known in the midst of My people Israel; and I shall not let My holy name be profaned anymore. And the nations will know that I am the LORD, the Holy One in Israel."Ezek. 39:7 This war probably uses nuclear weapons as we see the New World Leader using a "great sword." (Rev:6:4) After Israel defeats Russia, Iran and the others who come against her, with the United States being crippled by the Rapture (Rev. 18), Israel has no allies left. They apparently figure theyhave nothing to lose and everything to gain by finishing off their surrounding enemies. “In that day I will make the clans of Judah like a firepot among pieces of wood and a flaming torch among sheaves, so they will consume on the right hand and on the left all the surroundingpeoples, while the inhabitants of Jerusalem again dwell on their own sites in Jerusalem. Zech. 12:6 The whole world will watch as Israel begins by taking out Gaza with a single nuclear bomb. Then a day or two later, Syria is next to be decimated. After a few more days, it's Lebanon. ThoseArabs will be squealing like babies for someone to make Israel stop the carnage. And Then Comes the Man With A Plan Out of the blue, one person hastily puts together a peace plan to guarantee Israel's security when 10 nations agree to make a 7-year peace deal with Israel. This man is the New World Leader. Since Israel is negotiating from a STRENGTH POSITION, she demands to, among other things, be able to rebuild her Temple on Mt. Moriah and return to blood sacrifices. The Two Witnesses will have already shown up and measured out where the Temple should be built (Rev.11:1-3), causing a stir in the collective Jewish hearts. So this evil New World Leader dupes Israel into stopping their war and making peace for seven years with the 10 nations. “The ten horns which you saw are ten kings who have not yet received a kingdom, but they receive authority as kings with the beast… Rev. 17:12 And unfortunately Israel accepts this world treaty instead of trusting God's Word. “And he [the New World Leader] will make a firm covenant with the many for one week [7 years], Dan. 9:27 They were warned in scripture not to make treaties with their enemies: “Watch yourself that you make no covenant with the inhabitants of the land into which you are going, or it will become a snare in your midst. Ex. 34:12 3 1/2 years later they will regret their decision not to trust God and only God. Israel should not have trusted a lying bunch of sinners. The treaty will be broken. but in the middle of the week [middle of the 7 years] he will put a stop to sacrifice and grain offering. Dan 9:27b But the Peace Treaty between Israel and 10 nations (five from Europe and five from the Middle East) will be signed (the two legs of Daniel 2). The ink on the treaty (covenant) marks the beginningof the horrible 7-years of God's wrath on earth. What all this means for you and me is that there WILL BE a 7-year peace deal in the future. So it should not surprise us today to see Israel right in the middle of negotiations for peace ifwe are close to our rescue. Netanyahu says he won't accept anything less than a complete defeat of Hamas. Don't get into the details too much, as the treaty Israel signs will not be Biden's. But the language is interesting... a "road map." And again, since there's a treaty in the future, we shouldbe seeing a push for peace today... assuming we're close to our loud, boisterous and screamingly exciting exit. To see the complete graphic above, CLICKHERE The first exile of the Jews from their land resulted in love and obedience to the Lord. “For thus says the LORD, ‘When seventy years have been completed for Babylon, I will visit you and fulfill My good word to you, to bring you back to this place. For I know the plans that Ihave for you,’ declares the LORD, ‘plans for welfare and not for calamity to give you a future and a hope. Then you will call upon Me and come and pray to Me, and I will listen to you. You will seek Me and find Me when you search for Me with all your heart.I will be found by you,’ declares the LORD, ‘and I will restore your fortunes and will gather you from all the nations and from all the places where I have driven you,’ declares the LORD, ‘and I will bring you back to the place from where I sent you into exile.’" Jer. 29:10-14 All the above will happen again for the second time. Then it will happen on that day that the Lord will again recover the second time with His hand the remnant of His people, who will remain, from Assyria, Egypt, Pathros, Cush, Elam, Shinar,Hamath, and from the islands of the sea. Is. 11:11 And a Jewish man, Jesus Christ who is all man and all God, will rule the world from His throne in Jerusalem. PRAISE THE LORD! CQLJ! BP
