Noah, Lot, and the Last Trump?

Noah, Lot, and the Last Trump? – John Bellam - https://www.rev310.net/post/noah-lot-and-the-last-trump Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption. Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but weshall all be changed, In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.1 Cor 15:50-53 Greetings my brothers and sisters. I want to take a moment to thank our brother Pete for this opportunity to share some prophetic thoughts periodically with you on his wonderful forum. Hopefully,as the Lord sees fit, I will be able to write some thought-provoking items here pertaining to these last days in which we live. I find myself intrigued by Solomon’s words in Ecclesiastes 1:8-9 and they normally form the basis of my study of both history and Scripture. Solomon in his wisdom made it clear that historydoes indeed repeat itself. 8 All things are wearisome, more than one can say. The eye never has enough of seeing, nor the ear its fill of hearing. 9 What has been will be again, what has been done will be done again; there is nothing new under the sun. With this passage always somewhere in my mind, I like to use it in my approach to the study of history and understanding the ways God works through His written word sovereignly through time.God uses parallel situations, Foreshadowing and typology regularly to show us how things were, and how they will be again. With that in mind, I have long been inquisitive about Jesus' words in Matthew 24. 37 But as the days of Noah were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. 38 For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark, 39 And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. And … Jesus' words in Luke 17. 26 And as it was in the days of Noe, so shall it be also in the days of the Son of man. 27 They did eat, they drank, they married wives, they were given in marriage, until the day that Noah entered into the ark, and the flood came, and destroyed them all. 28 Likewise also as it was in the days of Lot; they did eat, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they builded; 29 But the same day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven, and destroyed them all. 30 Even thus shall it be in the day when the Son of man is revealed. What exactly was our Lord telling us in these passages that we can glean from and use to recognize clear signs in our present day? On the surface, these things seem routine or even mundane.Just business as usual things. Everyone since the beginning of time has gotten married, planted a garden, or built a house. Is Jesus just telling us there will be nothing special happening when He is about to break into time and take His people away beforethe wrath of the Tribulation commences? Perhaps! But I think careful analysis tells us more. Much more about His intent! I read some articles by Terry James a number of years ago where Terry speculated that a clue in the passages is that “.. they bought and sold, they planted and builded.” From this Terry surmisedthat the rapture may come at a time of prosperity. A time when we were all busy enjoying wealth and abundance and not yet at a time when the world’s economies were collapsing. Because of this angle, Terry believed the economic boom that America experiencedduring Donald Trump’s presidency may be the type of wealth Jesus was referring to in relating it to Lot’s time. Since the days of Trump’s first term, however, we have seen a downturn in economic success. The direction of the global economies seems to be headed more toward the conditions described inRevelation 6 with the third rider on the black horse than a great economic windfall. Inflation is rampant and the middle class is suffering greatly. But … I do believe Terry was onto something with his observation. I believe this because of the globalist’sdetermination to carry through with their “Great Reset”! We have all heard the sound bites of WEF leaders claiming that by 2030, we will all own nothing and be happy about it. We also know that global environmentalists and even leftist governorsof some states are pushing for legislation to outlaw growing gardens and small farming because they claim it is destroying the ecology. So much is being done to push this “Great Reset” and the “Sustainable Development Goals” on the nations of the world whetherthe citizens like it or not. But… since Jesus told us that there would still be buying and selling and planting and building going on when He returns for His Bride, we can be assured that the globalist’s goals will not be implemented (at least not fully) beforeJesus raptures us! That portion of those scriptures was meant to reassure believers that there would be some normalcy still left upon Jesus' return in spite of what the ambitions of the elites are for the world. But I still longed to gain a deeper understanding of the days of Noah and Lot and how our generation is so similar. So I prayed for the Lord to give me greater wisdom in these prophetic passagesand then made a list of similarities. 1.All three generations were on the cusp of God’s judgment falling because of rampant sin. 2.All three ages had men seeking unnatural mergers physically. In Noah’s day, it was humanity with angels. In Lot's time, it was men with men sexually. And in our day it’s the merger of humanitywith technology although we also probably have a mixture of the previous two as well. 3.All three times featured humanity in grossly exaggerated self-centeredness chasing after that which was right in their own eyes without regard to God's plan. 4.All three eras were filled with sin to the fullness of the cup. 5.The days of all three vexed the believers of the day. The Believers were and are just about worn out. Maybe the one thing we haven’t thought about is that the two previous judgments featured a man God was working through to warn the believers about the danger that was coming. Noah preachedfor 100 years and got the boat ready to save the remnant from judgment. Lot led his family out of Sodom because he believed God that judgment was coming and because of his faith, the wrath was not poured out until the evacuation was complete. The name Noah means “Rest “. God gives His people rest during the outpouring of judgment. Noah’s family was tucked away in the ark, sealed in safety as the rest of the world perished. The name Lot means “Hidden”. God's people are Hidden during His judgment against the world. Lot and his daughters were hidden from the fire and Brimstone that pounded down on Sodom and Gomorrah. Hmmm? So this got me thinking …Who is the leader today preparing the world for their evacuation? Who is pointing to the danger just around the corner? While numerous watchers are warning us,the Church as a whole is failing in the pulpits to warn the world. When God’s people fail to do their duty, God is not hesitant to raise up someone else to send His warning. And it doesn’t necessarily have to be a Godly man He uses. (Remember Nebuchadnezzarand Darius) With the world in severe danger now, and those in powerful positions mostly proclaiming false dangers are the problem, (like using cash or flatulent cows or plastic straws or UFOs) who is a TRUE world leader that is preparing us for the evil tocome like Noah and Lot did? Maybe the name TRUMP is our clue. Like him or not, it is Donald Trump who has warned us about the swamp and the global cabal and that they are coming for the believers and conservatives. He has been sounding the alarm sincebefore his first term in office. And it is he who has become violently hated for sounding that alarm because before he came to the forefront those he has exposed remained mostly hidden and behind the scenes. But now as they encircle humanity in their globalisttrap we can see them for who they are because he has been proclaiming their ambitions for nearly a decade. Now don’t get me wrong, I realize Donald Trump is a flawed human being just as the rest of us are. There are certainly more Godly men walking the planet and our Heavenly Father is sovereignto use whoever He chooses to proclaim His warnings so yes He could have decided to use someone with a life pattern more faithful to Him than Trump. But .. that was also the case when He chose Nebuchadnezzar to invade and decimate Judah in 607 BC. Surely ifGod was going to punish His chosen people for insubordination and blasphemous idol worship He would raise a nation more righteous than Israel and Judah to discipline them, right? Well No He didn’t. He chose one of the wickedest tyrants in the world to punish His people. And I believe during the process, He saved Nebuchadnezzar spiritually (read Daniel 4). So using a man like Trump isnot at all unlike our God to do when He feels it is necessary. As John MacArthur is fond of saying “ God uses sinful people to do His will. He has no one else to use!” This of course is because we are all sinners! So this brings me to my final thought. Ever since it was announced that Donald Trump would run for President nine years ago the name Trump resonated with me because of my familiarity with1 Corinthians 15:52. Although the word “trumpet” is used many times throughout the Bible, the word “Trump” appears only in the 1 Corinthian passage in reference to the rapture. Here is what “Got Questions “ says about the word Trump : “Throughout Scripture, trumpets were used as signals to gather people, to set armies on the move, and as part of the worship of God. The trumpet that summons the church is called “the trumpof God…” The irony of having a world leader with the name “Trump”, exposing the coming beast builders, at the exact point in history when all the prophetic signs of Jesus’ return are seemingly appearingexponentially is nothing short of astounding. And the great wonder of this is not due to the greatness of the man, but because of the greatness of God who foretold the name of His final Herald. Think about this. The world is denying that the rapture is approaching and that Jesus’ second coming will happen. Even a majority of the Church now shuns any mention of an imminent rapture. We are living in the days Peter spoke of when He said : Above all, you must understand that in the last days scoffers will come, scoffing and following their own evil desires. They will say, “Where is this ‘coming’ he promised? Ever since our ancestorsdied, everything goes on as it has since the beginning of creation.” 2 Peter 3:3-4 But regardless of the doubters, the rapture, the judgment, and the second coming are still approaching right on schedule. Nothing will stop them including the “Great Reset” or “Agenda 2030” or any other plans for the coming Beast system. Likewise, no matter how much Donald Trump has been attacked over the last nine years, nothing has been able to stop him from exposing the global cabal and swamp’s intentions! •He was ridiculed as an unqualified candidate before he first ran for President and not taken seriously but he still miraculously defeated Hillary Clinton. •After he won the 2016 election, Russian collusion charges were falsified against him for over a year but He was not stopped. •two impeachment hearings were brought against him but failed. •Covid was released to lock down the world, destroy the booming economy, and change voting laws during his final year as president but his rallies were still huge. •The election was corrupted to elect a man living in his basement who couldn’t win a single primary before the epidemic started while denying a hugely popular President his second term. Allmedia outlets immediately censored any claims that the election was stolen. Still, Trump didn’t give up. •Jan 6 was a planned trap to disrupt a gathering of MAGA supporters protesting the stolen election and turn it into a declared Trump insurrection to disqualify him from ever being presidentagain. It failed! •Trump’s home in Mar a Lago was raided to find or manufacture some evidence to incarcerate him. Didn’t succeed. •He has had nonstop lawsuits against him to jail him and make him a felon so he can be disqualified from running for office. He remains in the race. •He was shot on July 13 in an attempt to assassinate him. He lived! Through it all he is still standing, still sounding the alarm and still being protected by God for whatever his calling is in these final moments of the age. Again this a not for Donald Trump’sglory. This is all part of God’s glory that He alone sovereignly sets up who He wants in positions of power. He alone strips kings of their power and replaces them with whoever He chooses. And He alone can name a man for the role he is to play in the unfoldingof God’s divine plan. I find it all the more interesting that if Trump should be somehow elected this November it would be His “ last term “ and not a continuation of his first presidency. Even in that way, Godwould have used the phrase “last Trump” to give us a clue that the rapture is at the door. None of us know for sure how this will play out but it seems like more than a coincidence that God is using a man named “Trump” at this late hour! Noah was the man to bring “Rest” to the few who would get in the ark and trust God for deliverance. Lot was the man to be “ Hidden” away with his family when Sodom and Gomorrah burned. Perhaps “Trump” is the final warning that God is about to bring forth the great judgment and gather His church away in the twinkling of an eye. And we will Get our REST and we will Be HIDDEN from the judgment because we will Be taken at the last TRUMP! Is this all just a coincidence? Perhaps! But we serve a God of preciseness and not one of random chance. Since He sets up and takes down kings I believe He brought forth a man named “Trump” for just such a time as this! He changes times and seasons; He deposes kings and raises up others. He gives wisdom to the wise and knowledge to the discerning. Daniel 2:21
