Planet earth is shaking geophysically literally everywhere--some days at every hour, simultaneously. The seismologists are reporting the shaking, as our Rapture Ready News section readily attests.
 
Geopolitical tremors, whose epicenter is Israel, at the same time, reside within the most dangerous fault zone for potentially producing nuclear war. All the while the only instrumentality that can gauge the seismic activity is ignored by the supposedly smartest among us-the diplomats who want to be our New World Order masters.
 
These two realities-the geophysical shaking and the geopolitical quaking-are not mutually exclusive. There are direct correlations to be considered at this late date on God's prophetic timeline. Neither the scientists who study the earthquakes nor the diplomats-the political scientists-who think they can chart the future course of the world's nation-states-have the slightest chance of figuring out what all the shaking is about. They relegate the Creator of this now fallen sphere to the nether regions of existentialism-that is, He put it in motion and now keeps his hand off-or to Nietzsche's "God is dead," or to the atheist's mantra of nonexistence.
 
It is the "simple-minded, Bible-thumping, gun-toting, Armageddon-beckoning Christians," as Nancy Pelosi or Harry Reid might put it, who really know what's up with our quivering orb. This generation is getting very close to the end of the age, and alert Christians' supernatural seismometers are maxing out. The needles are pointing directly toward our returning Lord, who is about to step out on the clouds of glory and shout, "Come up here!"

 A 4.7 earthquake in Tokyo and eastern portions of Japan
 A 5.1 earthquake, Shanbeh town of Bushehr province in Southern Iran

 A 3.6 earthquake near Helena, Oklahoma
 A 5.1 earthquake, south central Alaska

The proliferation of the literal earthquakes have seemingly desensitized even the scientists charged with looking into the phenomenon, so great are the quakes in number.The profound geopolitical shaking taking place observably produces even greater desensitization to what's going on, particularly as regards the tiny Jewish state. The quaking within the dark, demonic regions where the powers and principalities of Ephesians chapter 6 do their wickedness signal where we are on God's prophetic timeline perhaps even more dramatically than does the geophysical shaking taking place.
 
Our columnist on matters concerning Israel, Jim Fletcher, who keeps our Rapture Ready visitors informed, has, I think, correctly analyzed the cabalistic dark doings within those high places during these closing days of the age. He gets to the heart of where the quaking is all leading a world ripe for judgment.
 
Various pressures are intensifying, with the most visible of course the open loathing for the Jewish state, coming from the White House. There are other troubling signs:
 
*A few days ago, Secretary of State John Kerry confirmed that Jews in Ukraine had been handed leaflets demanding that they register their property, or face deportation and confiscation of property. Fletcher continues, pointing to Israel as the epicenter of lack of concern that will one prophetic day bring a seismic event of unprecedented magnitude: It's a given that the international community doesn't care if Israel lives or dies, but why do they think a nuclear Iran would not be a threat to the rest of us? Our failure of national leadership has reached historic levels. *Then of course we have the growing malignancy of anti-Christian Zionist fervor that now infests the American Evangelical community. Various efforts continue apace, as Palestinian propaganda makes more inroads into American churches. This is a story to continually watch. (Ibid)
 
He concludes with a statement with which I wholeheartedly agree: "All this just gets us closer to that epic moment in history when Israel will become the world's sole focus" (Ibid.)
 
Zechariah the prophet put it this way in foretelling the horrific geopolitical earthquake that will one day bring the nations of the world down into a shattered heap:
 
The burden of the word of the LORD for Israel, saith the LORD, which stretcheth forth the heavens, and layeth the foundation of the earth, and formeth the spirit of man within him. Behold, I will make Jerusalem a cup of trembling unto all the people round about, when they shall be in the siege both against Judah and against Jerusalem. And in that day will I make Jerusalem a burdensome stone for all people: all that burden themselves with it shall be cut in pieces, though all the people of the earth be gathered together against it." (Zech. 12:1-3)
